Everything this extension stores stays on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data — there are no accounts, no servers, and no tracking of any kind.
What the extension stores — locally only
The extension keeps a few things on your device so your library works. This data lives in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB and Chrome local storage) and never leaves your computer:
- Download history — pin titles, descriptions, board names, media URLs, file sizes, resolutions, and timestamps of what you download.
- Folders and tags you create to organize your downloads.
- Settings — your preferences such as theme, filename template, and download folder.
This information is used solely to power features you see inside the extension, such as your searchable library. It is not synced to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the extension permanently removes it.
What the extension does not do
- No analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or crash reporting.
- No external servers — the extension does not have any.
- No account, sign-up, or login is ever required.
- No reading of your Pinterest credentials, cookies, or private messages.
- No selling or transferring of user data to third parties.
We comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Network requests
The extension only communicates with Pinterest's own content servers (pinterest.com, i.pinimg.com, and v.pinimg.com), and only to fetch the media files you explicitly choose to download or export. No request is ever made to any other domain, and no personal data is transmitted anywhere.
Permissions, and why they're needed
Each permission the extension requests maps to a specific, user-facing feature:

You are always in control
Because everything is stored locally, you decide what happens to your data at any time:
- Clear your entire download history from the extension's Settings.
- Export your data as JSON, CSV, TXT, or Markdown whenever you like.
- Uninstall the extension to permanently erase everything it stored.
Children's privacy & changes to this policy
This extension is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.
If this Privacy Policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
